Roses on Pedals Benefit Calendar
Our most recent project is the Roses on Pedals benefit calendar. This is a project we put together to bring a variety of different artists and boutiques together in order to raise funds and awareness for Safer Routes to School, “a coalition-led program that brings transportation together in partnership with our schools, neighborhoods, and community organizations to encourage students & families to get to and from school in ways that reduce traffic, increase safety, build strong bodies & clear minds, and provide a cleaner environment.”
We’ve nearly wrapped up the shooting phase and will moving into the design and production phase of the project in August. The calendar release and party are slated for mid-October. We are really excited about this project, as we’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing people and organizations.
Northwest 23rd located clothing boutiques Brooklyn Industries and Signature Imports generously supplied some seriously awesome accessories and wardrobe. Graciously providing truly artisan cycles for the project, bike builders from all over Portland participated, including Rob Tsunehiro of Tsunehiro Cycles, Neal Fegan of Montana Transit Authority, Duncan Robertson, Chris Dillon, Tim from A Better Cycle, Jordan Hufnagel of Hufnagel Cycles, Joseph Ahearne of Ahearne Cycles, and Ben Farver of Argonaut Cycles .We’ve also been working with a variety of incredibly talented local models who’ve helped bring the whole project together.
Come join us at the release party and help Safer Routes to School continue making Portland one of the bike friendliest cities in the world!
